Hey there! My name’s Remy Burke (they/them) and I’m a genderqueer comic artist, illustrator, and designer. Growing up as a queer kid in the Midwest, my art style’s heavily inspired by punk and horror, with heavy blacks and traditional brush inks. I love exploring supernatural themes and magical realism, with a foundation of rich character work. I received my BFA in Comic Art with a minor in Creative Writing from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2022. I’m the comic creator and illustrator for Chad Anderson’s graphic memoir, Gay Mormon Dad, and I’ve been featured in the publications Decoded Pride and Paranoid Tree Press.

I have experience in every stage of comic making, as well as cover art, illustration, interactive media, and graphic design work.

I’m from Grand Forks, North Dakota and aside from comics, I also dabble in animation, coding, game development, sewing, and bass guitar. I love green tea and my cat, Mauer.
